English Water works on the pipes that carry drinking water. We repair them, replace them, and install new ones, for homes and businesses across England.

Every property has two sets of pipes. The water main in the street belongs to your water company. The supply pipe, from the boundary of your property into the building, belongs to you. We work on both. For businesses, that means water main repairs, renewals and installations. For homes, it means supply pipe repairs, renewals and installations. We also find hidden leaks with listening equipment before anyone digs, and we replace lead pipes in homes built before 1970.

Where the ground allows, we do not dig a trench. Impact moling pulls the new pipe through a small underground bore between two pits, so driveways, patios and gardens are left alone. Larger jobs use directional drilling, which works the same way. All work meets UK Water Regulations, and you get a certificate when it is done.

Not sure which service you need? A leak you can see needs a repair. Poor flow from an old pipe usually needs a renewal. A new connection needs an installation. A leak you cannot find needs leak detection first. Lead pipe needs replacing.
